Description

Scex du Châtelard, Beauregard ou Chez-les-Rois, tels sont les noms de certains lieux-dits que le visiteur pourra découvrir ou redécouvrir au travers de cette balade des hameaux nichés sur les hauts de la commune de Villeneuve (9 en tout). Il s’agit d’un itinéraire qui s’adresse en priorité aux marcheurs aguerris, au vu de son dénivelé (327 m.) et de la forte déclivité des sentiers empruntés. Il y a la possibilité de faire un arrêt à la grotte paléolithique du Scex ou en haut des 231 marches d’escaliers à proximité de la Châtaigneraie de Chenaux. Vignes, pâturages, forêts et splendide panorama sur le Léman sont au programme !
